Who Are We?

ABOUT US

We are a couple with a passion for exploring the world, and we've decided to take our wanderlust to a cosmic level. Join us, and together, let's become Galaxplorers!

ABOUT THE CHALLENGE

The challenge "Planetary Tourism Office" is to create a tool for a future space tourism office that does two things: first, it provides travel itineraries for people who want to visit various celestial bodies in our solar system. Second, it educates users about these cosmic destinations through a fun, role-playing space tourism game. It can be a website or something similar, allowing users to pick destinations, explore highlights, and receive detailed itineraries, travel information, and tips. The goal is to bridge the gap between present-day interest in space exploration and the future of routine space tourism.

OUR SOLUTION

Our idea was to create a website that resembles the travel agency websites you see today, but with a twist. Our website takes you to a future where space travel is just a regular thing. We called ourselves "Galaxplorer" and got the domain "galaxplorer.fun" so anyone can visit the site for free and learn more about space. On our website, we've covered all the usual stuff you'd find on a travel agency. But here's where it gets interesting: we've designed three special one-week trips to Mars, Saturn, and the Moon. These trips are set in the future, so we let our imagination run wild. We've included all sorts of cool and fictional details, like futuristic transportation, entertainment, and accommodations, just like the challenge's video suggested. But it's not just about planning a trip to space; it's about learning too. We wanted to bridge the gap between today's curiosity about space and the future of space adventures. So, in each itinerary we've created, we've added educational info about the must-see spots on each planet based on what we know today. It's like taking a fun and educational journey through a future that's out of this world. Here's the impressive part: we put all of this together in less than a day and a half! It was a team effort by two of us. One of us is skilled at creating websites, and the other brings a ton of creativity to the table. Together, we crafted the entire website, designed our logo, and planned out these incredible trips. Our goal is simple: we want people to have a blast scrolling through our site while picking up some space knowledge along the way. Our website is like a time capsule from the future, and we hope it inspires people to learn more about our solar system. Plus, we plan to keep the website online so space enthusiasts can keep coming back to explore and discover more about the wonders of our cosmos.
