SPACEX TO LAUNCH VAST’S COMMERCIAL SPACE STATION AND FIRST HUMAN SPACEFLIGHT MISSION

Vast and SpaceX have joined forces to launch Vast Haven-1, what’s expected to be the world’s first commercial space station. Slated for Falcon 9 rocket launch in August 2025, Haven-1 will serve as an independent space station and a module for a larger Vast space station in development. Two human spaceflight missions, starting with Vast-1, will dock with Haven-1 for up to 30 days. Crew selection is ongoing, and SpaceX will provide training and simulations for these missions. Vast’s broader goal includes a 100-meter-long spinning artificial gravity space station, aiming to enhance accessibility to space and pave the way for humanity’s multiplanetary future.
